I've been a professional software developer for all my working life. I started programming at school in the late 1970's and have worked on most operating systems and with a fair few languages over the years. I am interested in science and technology, both where it applies to my work and for my own personal interest. I'm also a fan of well written sci-fi and well made movies - though I have been known to enjoy "bad" movies too.
